Success on the path toward the Health and Life Insurance Industry

1. You begin by successfully completing our online Health and Life (Including Annuities & Variable Contracts) Pre-Licensing course. Work at your own pace on your own. Your instructor is available if needed by email or in our online forums. Florida students earn 60 hours of credit completely online. This course fulfills Florida’s requirements for Health and Life education. (Similar courses are available for Maryland and Pennsylvania.)
2. If you have taken OLT’s prelicensing course, We will automatically send the Bureau proof within 21 days of your passing date. We have similar policies in place for Maryland and Pennsylvania students.
3. Florida Students – Answer all of the questions and pay the fees to complete the online application.

4. Florida Resident applicants should register for LiveScan and go to the nearest IdentoGo location to have their fingerprints submitted electronically.
   1. Fingerprinting vendor website: www.L1enrollment.com/FLInsurance
   2. Fingerprinting fees are not included and must be paid directly to vendor
5. Once your application has been approved an email will be sent to you directing you to check your messages in your MyProfile account. Messages are where you may view your notifications from the department, such as an authorization for an examination.

7. Once all of this is completed, you will have satisfied Florida’s Pre-Licensing course requirements. You should check your MyProfile account and verify that everything has been received.
8. Don’t forget to print your license from your MyProfile account.
